perhaps i can help you:
from your name, i suppose you are german, too. and your linux is running
with german language.
we had the same problem, same error messages. after a long time checking the
scripts, we got it:
just set the language to german (i dont remind the exact call) like:
export lang=C
for english, or american. don't know, why "C". export, because eit is
executed in a sub-shell.
it's, because the scripts search for the string "address", and in the german
"ifconfig" you'll find "Adresse".
