scratch [-header HEADER] command [command_args ]
The scratch command puts message tag on head of each message of stdout and stderr of the command. The tag consists of program name of the command in capital form, hostname, node number, number of nodes, and PID, if the scratch command is invoked in the scout environment or by the scrun command. If the scratch command is invoked in a non-parallel environment, the tag consists of the name of program, hostname, and PID.
