How to install Contribution packages

From SCore 5.4.0, the contribution packages from members and others are included. These contribution packages are as is, and the consortium does not support them.

On SCore 5.8,2, following contribution packages are included:

• OpenPBS/SCore
• SGE/SCore
• Gram Job Manager(SGE/SCore)
• Acebox
• Icebox
• MPICH-G2/SCore
• PXE boot
• Fujitsu-PM/IB

How to get contribution packages

The contribution package provide only source file. The source file name of contribution package is score-5.8,2.contrib.tar.gz.

This file located ftp://ftp.pccluster.org/pub/score-5.8,2/source/ or http://www.pccluster.org/score/dist/pub/score-5.8,2/source/.

If you have an SCore Version 5.8,2 CD-ROM and you mounted it to /mnt/cdrom

How to extract contribution packages

We assume that SCore patch and gziped source tar files will be downloaded under the /opt/score.work directory.

To extract source code of contribution package, please issue following commands:

    #cd /opt/score
    #tar vxzf /opt/score.work/score-5.8,2.contrib.tar.gz

OpenPBS/SCore

OpenPBS/SCore is contributed by Fujitsu Laboratories.
OpenPBS/SCore ported OpenPBS to use SCore.

The source files of OpenPBS/SCore are located in /opt/score/score-src/contrib/flab/program/openpbs. If you want to use OpenPBS/SCore, please read How to change PBS to OpenPBS

SGE/SCore

SGE/SCore is contributed by NEC corporation.
SGE/SCore provided SUN gridengine environment on SCore.

The source files of SGE/SCore are located in /opt/score/score-src/contrib/nec/program/sge. If you want to use SGE/SCore, please read following document: (But Japanese only)

Gram Job Manager(SGE/SCore)

Gram Job Manager(SGE/SCore) is contributed by NEC corporation.
Gram Job Manager(SGE/SCore) provided Globus Toolkit environment on SGE/SCore.

Acebox

Acebox is contributed by Swimmy software, Inc.
This software controls cluster node(s) via ACEBOX produced by Linux NetworX.

Icebox

Icebox is contributed by Swimmy software, Inc.
This software controls cluster node(s) via ICEBOX produced by Linux NetworX.

The source files of icebox are located in /opt/score/score-src/contrib/swimmy/icebox. If you want to use this, please read /opt/score/score-src/contrib/swimmy/icebox/clcon/README.

MPICH-G2/SCore

MPICH-G2/SCore is contributed by The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology.
MPICH-G2/SCore is an integration of MPICH-G2 with the SCore cluster computing system.

The source files of MPICH-G2/SCore are located in /opt/score/score-src/contrib/aist/runtime/scoreg. If you want to use MPICH-G2/SCore, please read /opt/score/score-src/contrib/aist/runtime/scoreg/README.

PXE boot

PXE boot is contributed by Streamline Computing.
PXE boot is provided pxe boot for EIT.

The source files of PXE boot are located by /opt/score/score-src/contrib/streamline/install/pxe. If you want to use PXE boot, please read /opt/score/score-src/contrib/streamline/install/pxe/README-SCORE.PXE.

Fujitsu-PM/IB

Fujitsu-PM/IB is contributed by FUJITSU LIMITED.
Fujitsu-PM/IB aims at connecting PC cluster of 512node(s) with PM/IB, and making it operate as interchange connection for SCore.

The source and i386 binary files of Fujitsu-PM/IB are located by /opt/score/score-src/contrib/fujitsu/SCore/pm2. If you want to use Fujitsu-PM/IB, please read /opt/score/score-src/contrib/streamline/fujitsu/SCore/pm2/INSTALL.PMIB.
