pmbench - measure the performance of PM using pmtest

SYNOPSIS

pmbench -network network1[,network2] [-host host1[,host2]] [options]

DESCRIPTION

Pmbench measures PM performance use pmtest.

tt>Pmbench measures round trip time and bandwidth.
- OPTIONS

-network network1[,network2]
-
The network1 specifies the network name defined in
the scorehosts.db file.
You must specifie network1.
If network1 is shmem device, network2 is used
for destination network.
if network2 is not specifies, and network1 is shmem0 or shmem1,
network2 sellect different network of network1.
If i>network1 is not shmem device, network2 is ignore.

-host host1[,host2]

Specify host to invoke pmtest.
You specify shmem device, you must specify host1.
Otherwith, if host is not specified,
node 0 and node 1 in configuration file is used.

-burst
-
Show a burst transfer bandwidth instead of
ping-pong transfer round trip time.

-zerocopy[=vread|vwrite]
-
Show a remote memory transfer bandwidth instead of
ping-pong transfer round trip time.
If vread is specifies, remote memory read is used.
If vwrite is specifies, remote memory write is used.
If network is shmem device, default is vread,
otherwith vwrite.

-len length[,length...]
-
Length byte messages are used for testing.
Default are 4, 8, 16, 32, 48, 64, 96, 128, 192, 256, 384, 512, 768, 1024
1280, 1440, 1468, 1536, 2048, 3072, 4096, 6144, 8192 bytes.
