- NAME
-
ipcrmm - remove System-V shared memory segment
- SYNOPSIS
-
ipcrmm
- DESCRIPTION
-
ipcrmm tries to remove all System-V shared memory segments
created on the hosts in a SCOUT environment, using the Unix
ipcrm(8) command. SCore-D creates a
System-V shared memory segment for a user process. When
SCore-D crashes, there is a slight chance for the shared
memory segments not to be deleted. This ipcrmm command script
is designed to clean up the orphaned shared memory segments.
- NOTES
-
ipcrmm must be invoked as a scout command. ipcrmm
just tries to remove all shared memory segments, no matter the shared
memory segments are created by SCore-D or not.
