NAME
scash_distribute_var - global update of external data

SYNOPSIS
int scash_distribute_var(char* externp, int length)

DESCRIPTION
scash_distribute_var() distributes length bytes of external data starting at externp to every node.

RETURN VALUES
scash_distribute_var() returns 0 on success.
