Actually the latest update from RedHat is 2.4.18-17. There are indeed 
several NFS-related fixes since 2.4.18-3, plus quite a lot of others. Have 
you tried applying the patch to the 2.4.18-update kernel and failed ?
I'll probably do this here sometimes in the very near future, so I'll 
appreciate any info on it. If not, you'll hear from me when I'll do it :-)
