回答ありがとうございました。以下が回答に従い実行した結果です。

両方ともfirewallの設定が有効になっていたので、ディスクトップ上の「システムの
設定」から「セキュリティレベルの設定」を行いfirewallを無効にしたのですが、こ
れで十分だったのでしょうか？

このコマンドを実行する前にネットワークの設定を行う必要があることを聞き、
/etc/hosts のファイルにcomp0 のIPアドレスとホスト名を追加して実行したとこ
ろ、以下の結果が返ってきました。

[root ＠ server root]# ping comp0.pccluster.org
PING comp0.pccluster.org (192.168.1.101) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from comp0.pccluster.org (192.168.1.101): icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 
time=0.242 ms
64 bytes from comp0.pccluster.org (192.168.1.101): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 
time=0.123 ms
64 bytes from comp0.pccluster.org (192.168.1.101): icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 
time=0.113 ms
64 bytes from comp0.pccluster.org (192.168.1.101): icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 
time=0.125 ms

続いてSCOUTテストを実行してみましたところ、以下の結果が返ってきました。

[root ＠ server root]# scorehosts -l -g pcc
comp0.pccluster.org
1 host found.
[root ＠ server root]# sceptic -v -g pcc
comp0.pccluster.org: scping FAILED
/usr/bin/rsh: comp0.pccluster.org FAILED
Retry 1
 
前回と違うエラーが返って来たのですが、これはどのように解釈すればよろしいので
しょうか。

最後に scorehosts.db の中身を確認しましたが、以下の通り正しく入力されている
と思うのですが。
