[Mckernel-users 6] MSR data collection in MCKernel

To whom it may concern,
I am running experiments on MCKernel that require the collection of data
from model specific registers (MSRs). The usual methods which I use to
collect MSR data on standard linux kernels do not appear to work in
MCKernel but I have not found any documentation about how to do this. I
have tried using pread on the /dev/cpu/#/msr module, and assembly "rdmsr".

Please let me know if there is a way to do this in MCKernel and provide a
link to documentation if available. If there are multiple methods for
gathering MSR data in MCKernel please list all of them because I need the
lowest latency and highest throughput method.
